[1.0.3.5] Auto-saves are not frequent enough

I have my auto-saves set to 5 minutes, but they only happen every 20-40 minutes. What gives?

Given that there are still a lot of random crashes, I was hoping at least I wouldn't lose too much when experiencing a crash.

Hi , I set mine at 1 minute and I get 1 save randomly every 5 minutes. It's a way to avoid this bug ...

I suspect the autosave timer might be based on unpaused time. I haven't tested, but it would explain the apparent variability of the save frequency.

Sorry, I made a similar post about this. In my case I had 2 Auto saves over a 9 hour play window. And while I did pause, I didn't pause anywhere close to that much

Agree, I also don't pause that much. This does not seem to be correlated with unpaused time.

Will try to set auto-save to 1 minute and see what happens.

auto save, is, AFAICT - absolutely random. It has no relationship to play time, wall time, CPU time, or any other time.

Just random.
