Missing Railroad between Basra and Abadan

The Railraod between Isfahan anf Abadan is useless, it does not connect to any Town. A Railraod between Basra and Abadan would fix that.

You are right that the railway does not work like others do, though as far as I can tell, there was no railway connecting Iran and Iraq during the war.

In fact, it has only recently been agreed that there will be a railway linking both countries:

The Belt and Road projects that China has been doing is spectacular I must say. The RR link from China to Vientiane, Laos has just been completed and its super modern. Ultimately its terminus will be Bangkok,Thailand. It is a bit concerning, this massive PRC influence within the country and Vietnam of course. I have a home in Vientiane , and the vibe and the landscape is definitely changing there. Is it beneficial for Laos? In some ways yes...maybe economically, but there are dangers that are also just over the horizon for this sleepy nation. There is quite a lot of resentment in-country that the elites pursued this path and let China gain a foot hold like it has. Well I could go on about this and going off topic haha.

Ahh okay, that explains that, thx. Its just easy to overlook and frustrating ones you run in to it.
