Disappearing air misson allocation bottom menu?

Post by jzardos »

I've seen now a few times when I click on the air mission allocation button, I don't have any bottom menu to select or exist. I'm just left with a recon mouse pointer icon on map and have to click on the Intel button and then exit to get off hat mouse pointer.

Has anybody else seen this. It usually goes away at the start of a new turn, but then can come back. I should have a save game with that going on if that will help. Maybe I'm the only on to have seen this? Don't remember it happening on the smaller tutorial scen, maybe it's just a campaign thing when you have lots more air?

Are you sure it is not a night turn where there may be no night-capable planes? Until now I nefer experienced that possible bug.

I haven't experienced this either.

One hypothetical explanation:
If you use up all your air missions in turn 1 and all of them have a delay of at least 1 turn, then you don't have any air missions available in turn 2, thus also no "bottom menu"? Once their delay has passed by, they become available to you again, so the menu "re-appears"?
Note that air units that are currently on delay are displayed under "future reinforcements".
