NVA Mortars fire from Jungle?

How is it that NVA mortars can fire from the jungle but US and ARVN units can't?

That is how the NVA/VC units are coded. The US/ARVN (well, literally everyone else) are limited in doing so.

It is one of the advantages of using the NVA/VC, yes indeed.

They were better at utilizing the terrain.

The Free World forces were better at bulldozing it.
