I really love this game but haven't been able to play it for ages, with the war against England campaigns, I go into the screen and it runs very slowly and can't move around the screen. What should I do? decrease the screen size or quality a lot??

Two things you can do:
1. Run it in Window mode. go to options and select windowed on.
2. Run it through DXWnd with windowed mode off.. the readme and the forum helps you get this setup. This is the best way to play the game full screen.

Otherwise, yes... after Windows 10 the game became prohibitively laggy until we got it to work through Dxwnd.

Another option is to play in Windowed mode but set your screen resolution to a larger setting and experiment.
