Turn 25. Sep/Oct 1943. The Western Front. Allied #7. HQ Reorg.
Unfortunately for the Western Allies the turn end on this impulse (10% chance) and the allies missed out on the 72% chance of getting another impulse this turn and taking advantage of these reorgs.

Turn 25. Sep/Oct 1943. The Western Front. End of Turn. (New) Relations.
Holland is now aligned to the US and doesn't cooperate with any other major power. That's why the Dutch TRS at Malta and the Dutch CA in Liverpool had to sortie away from the Brits.
More interestingly is that France one again exists and incorporate Free French (not surprising to anyone) and Vichy and their units (surprising to everyone) into their fold. In effect, all Vichy units on the board "defected" back to the allies; specifically France. France (now) does cooperate with both the USA and CW.

Turn 25. Sep/Oct 1943. End of Turn. Butcher's Bill.
CORRECTION: Japan lost 2 CPs and hence consumed 2 BPs this turn. This correction, while not reflected in this turn's post has been corrected in the BPL, BP* & dPB* EXCEL entries for Japan for this turn and will be properly accounted for in later turns.

Re: 6-Player Friendly PBEM Global War
Turn 25. Sep/Oct 1943. End of Turn. Victory Totals.
(1) VP score = controlled - bid VPs.
(2) Japan remains in the lead with a VP score of 7.
(3) Germany has tumbled over the past two turns from tied for the lead at 7 to third with 2.
(4) Italy remains in second at 4.
(5) The CW is the first allied major power to climb out the negative score. They're now at 0.
(6) Now that France is back in the game not sure if Paris and Marseilles currently in the CW & USA column, respectively will move over to the French, and hence the Soviet, column?
(7) By the way, the Soviet player gets "credit" for all objectives controlled by France; however, it's the US & CW players that are actually controlling France. With the Soviet player's armistice with Japan at the start of this game, we don't think the Soviet player will be asking to change this arrangement. That is, asking for actual control of France back. Honestly, it makes sense for the Soviet player to control France in the early game when France doesn't cooperate with the CW, the USA is neutral and (generally, but not in this game) the Soviet Union is neutral too. But not when France is resurrected and is an integral part of the Western Allies in the late game.

Turn 25. Sep/Oct 1943. End of Turn. Victory Totals (REVISED).
I think I see De Gaulle's hand at work! The French cities liberated by the hard fighting of the US and CW players do indeed move over to the French, and hence Soviet, column during the conquest phase!
