Some infos please...

Wasnt sure if this squad level game simulation is for me, what i am looking for is handling engagements in the Pacific Campaign in vary places. That has Japan forces as well Allies too. Also after setting the scenario (editor) and i assume you can make your own map or import them. Need to be setup as AI vs. AI, after the objective are set.

I got this Lock n' Load core (digital) off Steam, look good and i went ahead to buy the Heroes of the Pacific and the Editor, but i was disappointed cause it only US Army, US Marines vs. Japan units. Just wasnt enough in those package and ended up asking for full refund from those modules. Having to buy all those modules that i needed isnt worth it and something like that can cost up or over hundred US dollars.

There are few others i can look into, havent tried The Operation of Art of War, look interesting. But they wont tell me everything i need to know and i hate buying something that doesnt cover all the details and ended up asking for a refund.

I could do this by counters, rules, maps, on table top. But that would take hours, i mean hours to do. So looking for something that is computer generated and calculate all those movements, etc. It would save me great deal of time and errors.

As far as creating Pacific War engagements, I don't think V&V would be it right now.

I am sure you are already familiar with the older John Tiller (now Wargame Design Studio) Squad Battles games (Pacific War being the big one). There is also the huge Japan '45 and '46 PzC games.

Good luck hunting down a game that works for you, and let us know if you find one!

Thanks, yeah i have John' Campaign Series, but its very old with poor graphics and very slow as well. Sadly he didnt get a chance to upgrade it and sorry to hear that he passed away.

Gonna give Operation of Art of War a try, few told me that should do the job.
