Looking for Confident Soviet Novice - 1941 Campaign [Closed]

Post by homer82 »

This will be my first MP game. I just gained my first victory in a 1941 campaign as the Axis vs the Soviet AI so I'm a confident Axis novice :D. I can play two turns per week and possibly more.

- Fog of War: On
- Movement FOW: On
- Lock HQ support: On or Off - your call
- Automate AI air assist: Off
- Enhanced Player TB control: On
- Always latest patch (including beta?)

No preferences on house rules but I'm open to ideas.

I am not a novice but I have on won one game as Soviet and lost many so I would rate myself as a learning Soviet player.
My only house rule is no super HQ depots.
Locked hqs is good.
Two or more turns a week suits me just fine.
How does that sound?

Hey Matthew, that sounds like a game! I've been trying to set up a server game for the last 45 minutes or so but it keeps timing out. I assume it's a server issue. I'll try again in the morning to set up a server game and let you know. Alaska is
GMT-9.

That's great.
What 41 campaign do you want to play?
Standard or fight to the bitter end?
I am happy either way so it is up to you.
Have a nice day.

I would prefer the standard campaign. You have a great day too, I'll try again tomorrow.

Updated to 1.02.27 beta and recommend you do the same.
Could improve your air war results for turn one.

Thanks Matt, I just finished downloading it. It still keeps timing out when I try to create a server game. Any ideas? I'll also post a general "help" message.
