Turn off or get around Air AI

Post by darbycmcd »

Hello hivemind.

I started a multiplayer game and the option for Automated AI Air assist was checked. I didn't think too much about it at the time, but now I realize that I can't figure out how to turn it off. It is... not doing great things for me. It is November 41 in our game and I am trying to shut down most operations but it keeps doing things. It also transfers whole commands away that I am trying to set up to cover those fronts that don't have dedicated air HQs.

Is there any way to shut it off? Failing that, what can I do so that at least it doesn't override what I put in (although to be honest the idea of doing the same stand down orders each turn is... not exciting).
I feel like it should be manageable to let the players opt out after the start.

Any advice?

Thanks

in a MP game if you selected that option you can't turn it off, similar to Theatre Box control its then fixed for the game

given how the full AI function works, no there is no work around as you press F12 and the AI overwrites everything to generate its deployment and AD pattern
