Barely 62 thousand Soviet casualties this turn and we suffered just over half AFV's losses the Russians did.

The OB is still looking nice at this time there still under 3 million and there also under 2000 AFV's.

I'd say these two are related? You are running out of potential victims looking at the OOB chart

AG North Turn 67

Well this is going to be a bit of a dull time on 18th Armee's front, a lot HQ units but only 2 enemy combat units which don't seem all that eager to challenge me.

Further south is no better, still has some benefit I will be able to set my troops into good defensive terrain and be prepared if and when the enemy does attack.

I new once Leningrad fell this front would be a low priority.

AG Centre Turn 67

Could not trap all the enemy units facing 16th Armee along the river but did get some including a strong Inf Corps in the Vladimir sector.

South of Moscow both 2nd and 3rd Pz Armee's eliminate the pockets there as rain begins to cover the countryside.

Just about achieved all I can here will now settle about destroying the Red Army as it moves to engage my units.

Army Group A turn 67


4th Armee remains in a holding pattern again this week, we have advanced so far that we need to get rail-heads closer to the front line units across the map.

Despite the weather starting to turn bad we are still moving closer to the objective while destroying the enemy barring our way.

South of 4th Pz Armee's position the Soviets are concentrating Naval and Airborne troops, OK since the weather here has started raining it could help the Sailors.

Army Group B Turn 67

A Front wide push nets a number of units encircled including 2 Cavalry units but a third evades capture for now.

Attacks towards Grozny continue and 1 of the Hungarian Armoured Div's pushes through the line.

Despite the lack of supplies the Italians push on, there is no real opposition here at the moment so we should get to Batumi.

This week is good as the Soviets lose 150,000 causalities and there over all figure breaks the 10 million mark.

The Air losses for enemy is even better nearly 300 planes destroyed.

Still the enemy manpower continues to climb and with the weather turning worse even less chances of getting sizeable pockets.

AG North Turn 68

Oct 4th the Soviets have decided to send some troops North, not a lot but I see 3 Cavalry Div's here, I was hoping by upgrading the airfields North that there would be air drops to the most further est Army Korps but it seems not.

38th Korps is in dire need of a decent resupply, food stocks are low but the Luftwaffe appears not to be to interested in sending airdrops up that way.

16th Armee is facing a mixed bag of enemy formations while for the most there low tier troops there is two powerful Inf Corps in the sector.

I decide to take Ryazan it has a vital rail junction and I need it so I can run rail lines to the front, I just cant to afford to capture anymore Northern objectives or the game will end before I can take control of the South.

Army Group A Turn 68

As the battle for Stalingrad intensifies the Soviets pull troops that were facing both 4th, 2nd and 6th Armee's from there lines giving me a chance to make more ground here.

The weather is deteriorating but i am still pushing forward, 4th Pz cleans out a pocket and more POW's are taken.

We clear one pocket and create another as the rain finally hits The Caucasus region, not long now until we reach the The Caspian Sea.

Grozny is within site as move forwards to the city, a second Hungarian armoured Div is through the gap.

The Italian Army has now bypassed all seaport fortresses only a few scattered enemy units appose us along the coast.

For our 2 planes shot down the enemy lost over 160 that's a good ratio.

I've never seen that line match requirements, even late war when I had 50% more going to the combat formations than I needed.

Which makes me wonder just what its capturing. I recall from WiTW that you sometimes got a 'mission cancelled, lack of fuel etc' message in the logistics log but I don't see that often in WiTE2.

I've had a look at my current turn and had a lot of airbases with notionally a supply shortfall (so the ratio on the table looks correct) but not seeing any knock on effect on actual commitment of the airforce

Sorry if I sound like a NOOB but your saying that something looks wrong with my Air Command supply situation.

Because it seems to fluctuate from badly in the red to not terrible to in the black, basically up and down from turn to turn and I have not launched any Air Directives for quite some time, my ground support has been turn off again for quite some time.


Bottom line I virtually have no planes in the air from turn to turn, I mean it does not really matter as apart from the opening turn the the Air War is secondary to me, apart from GS which is still a problem.

I might feel different if I was playing a Human opponent, but if there is bugs then they should be found for the benefit of the game as a whole.

OK I understand what your saying know, don't get me wrong as someone who loves to see the figures in the positive, its always refreshing to have Air supply in plenty even if the Luftwaffe's entire Air fleet sits on the runway or in the hangers the entire match.

Resupply of the Army is my main concern, bottom line.

All Quiet on 18th Armee's front.

Another attack on North Moscow to weaken its defences.

3rd Pz Armee expands the perimeter and helps trap a few units including a Artillery Div.

Army Group A Turn 69

looking at the map in the Stalingrad area shows only 2 rail links to city from the west, just as a precaution I'm pushing 2nd, 4th and 6th Armee's East to capture both the Tambov / Stalingrad and Lipetsk / Stalingrad lines, this way I get to resupply these Armee's North of the city.
