Is it really possible for Italy to take Malta?

Wondering what steps I would need to take to make it so? With no amph assault seems impossible. Thanks for any tips/inf!

It is either a secret on how to do it or I am such a noob that I don't know that it is impossible. :P

I don't think Italy alone could take Malta, but with German help it can be done.
