Tutorial question on bridge

If the bridge needs to be repaired why am I able to have all my units cross it without ordering the repair? Do the bridge units repair automatically? In the planning phase I order my units to cross the bridge and they all do but I never ordered a specific repair. In the execution they all cross the bridge.

Hi, there's 2 bridges there across the river and only 1 is destroyed, so your units can cross the river on the other bridge.
The tutorial is mostly meant as a sandbox for you to try out stuff.
For the Bridging unit to repair the bridge, you need to either press 'B' or right click the unit and press teh bridging button at the bottom of the unit info display.
