Build 1243.5 Release Notes (changes from B1243.4)

* FIXED: Erroneous leftover block for HGVs and D-EMP weapons
* Fixed : DB viewer was missing hyperlink to sensor entries
* Fixed : Aegean In Flames was not registered
* Fixed a rare issue in the mission editor where assigned/unassigned unit would not be properly fetched.
* Tweaked : Locked RPs no longer get deleted (manual deletion only)

I just extracted this Build, and nothing happens when I try to open the game. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Just installed it and it worked just fine for me. Started up "North Pacific Shootout" and everything looks normal. Game shows v1243.5

Yeah fine here as well. I suggest opting in the steam beta. Then unzipping the builds (.4, .5) into your directory.

There's been reports by a few people who had this issue when installing the 1243.4 beta although there's been substantially more people who have installed it with zero problems.

Generally this indicates the file was extracted incorrectly.

What were the steps you took to extract and overwrite the previous release?

Two other things:

1.Have you attempted to right click the replacement .exe and click "Run as administrator" when launching CMO directly from the beta .exe? If running CMO from the launcher right click the beta .exe and under the compatibility tab select "Run as administrator" close it and start the Launcher as admin and then see if CMO launches when you click play.

2. If the above faile to work, when attempting to start the game and nothing happens if you press Ctrl alt delete is the .exe listed in processes?

Edit: Make sure to post this in tech support too so the team can track it.

Here are a couple of things that I've noticed while using version 1243.5:

Quick manual weapon allocation (shift + RMB) doesn’t seem work with a group of units – for example a group of two fighters has the option to ‘engage with’ but not the option to pick what type of weapon. Selecting an individual aircraft allows the option to pick what type of weapon should be used.

Shift right click doesn’t seem work when attempting to refuel aircraft. I only get the option to ‘join as escort’. Also doesn’t work for groups of aircraft. Tried with F-22, B-1B, and E-2D with a KC-46A.

When targeting units, I’ve noticed that deallocating a weapon from the target prevents me from allocating that same weapon again against that same target. I’m able to allocate a different weapon but the same problem occurs if I deallocate that weapon. For example, if I allocate and then deallocate the AGM-65D missiles on an A-10, I’m unable to allocate them to the same target but still able to use the CBU-87s. If I deallocate the CBU-87s then I cannot reallocate them and the AGM-65D against the same target. Closing and reopening the weapon allocation windows doesn't seem to change anything.

The Shift + RMB options do not currently works for groups, only for individual units.

Reading thought the docs looks like lots of good stuff in 1243.3 and 5, look forward to giving it all a spin when I get time. Thanks for the updates.

I've submitted a tech support post about this already (https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 0&t=384159), but I just want to let the others in this thread know what problem I've been having and that I already sent in a ticket so that there's no wasting time or dealing with duplicates of the same issue...

TL;DR of the issue: "The old Visual Detection & Classification Zoom Level lines in the DB Viewer are no longer present when viewing Visual & IR Sensors..."

All: The "sonar detections not happening" issue was due to a pair of libraries missing. We re-uploaded the update pack with the libraries included. Please download & apply and give it another try. Thanks.

What a great effort the big update is, enjoying it already very much!

Perhaps an opinion piece, but I seriously dislike that a plain right-click deletes the waypoints to plot a course when the unit is selected. It is way too easy to destroy an elaborate course built-in only to reconstruct! Perhaps yet another tick box into the settings..?

Please push that fix to Steam too ;)

PS: could it be that the two dll files were added later to the zip file than the 18th by the way?
