How to move/disband ski brigades

Hi Guys,

any easy way to move all ski brigades from units/HQs to reserves or simply to disband them?
Disband/Transfer command in CR is working only when they are under STAVKA but as you can imagine most are attached to units so this thing doesn't work.
So I have to move them one by one to STAVKA in order to manipulate with two commands in CR.
Is there any work around?

This can only be done manually. Or for headquarters, you can unlock headquarters and set the support level to 0, then all support units from headquarters will move to Stavka and from there you can already move ski battalions to the reserve or to another theater.

I suggested some time ago already a command in the CR, that allows transfer to Stavka / OKH.

I do not believe presently there is a turnaround, so alas ... a lot of clicks to be done.
Been there, done that.
Still doing that for SUs under a certain TOE% too ... one by one.

the reason is they have to be 10+ hexes from the front line to disband. This was added in a patch to stop the abuse of people disbanding them in a situation where the units would be pocketed next turn.

So its not so much it 'only works if at Stavka' as that Stavka is usually 10 hexes from the front.

As so often, stopping abuse of the game systems has implications for the rest of us

Thanks guys, it feels bit better knowing I'm not the only one doing it manually.
Since making this process takes two turns same can be implemented with action button in CR page.
If SU is close to enemy then it takes 2 turns to transfer to reserves and process is broken in case unit/HQ get isolated in the meantime. this way you will prevent abusing of system but still help us guys to avoid multiple clicks.

Hey one more thing. is it rule that multi role unit you move from reserves to map will always come as combat unit. is there a way to transfer for example inf. brigade from reserves to map as SU?

to your second question - no

to the first, it would be sometimes useful but I'm not so sure.

if I am playing the Soviets the first thing I do is to find low TOE SUs (lets say <60%) and I move these back to Stavka to refit. Now at the same time I often want to replace them in that command, so while its a bit of a pain to do it one by one, what I also do at the same time is one in/one out - and I'm not sure that second decision can be automated (or that I want to use auto SU assignment), sometimes I don't replace and run a command down.
