Wars - no alliances, no options to cede colonies

Post by concern »

Been in plenty of wars now. I note there are no options for proper alliances, which might contribute to a joint victory.

More disappointing, no option to force the ceding of colonies in peace terms.

Wondering if there are plans to address.

Yes, diplomacy needs a complete rework. It's same as in the first game.

I'm sure diplomacy will get an update in the future... it is quite basic at the moment.

The game would be quite beneficial of you can put demands on offers and if you could form multi-lateral alliances between multiple empires in the same deals.

Being able to form multi empire defence pacts. Demand an empire to stop a war against someone or you declare war on them. Promise another empire to protect them if they are attacked.
