freindlies and enemy in the same hex?

Post by simovitch »

Playing "First attack on the bloc" and an enemy unit infiltrated into a hex shared with some of my troops. Strange enough.
I can fire at them too. And when I try to move more of my troops into this hex they have to assault the hex to do so. So i assault the hex and force everyone to retreat - including my own troops who were in the hex! You can see them sharing Kfar Etzion where they retreated to in the screenshot.

Is this tunnel or sewer movement or something else I'm missing? I'm a long time CS player but just picked up CSME last week.
EDIT: looking at the end game screen I guess these could have been hostile civilians and/or settlers?

Good morning!

Yes, there are instances where a Side A and a Side B unit can occupy the same hex.

It is rare, but it is possible.
