General wont land with troops.

Currently have a General with a +30% attack bonus but its irrelevant because he wont most of the time disembark from the transport fleet he is assigned to.

He will some times, but its hella inconsistent. Also, when he does leave, its a pain because I then have to manually reassign him to the fleet if I am invasion hopping planet to planet.

I am trying to level him up for Mort victory conditions but is hard if he wont leave his transport.

On that issue what is the difference between winning a war and subjugating an empire?

They each have there own conditions for Mort.

Surely the only way to win is subjugation as there is no formal you win declaration when a war ends with both empires still existent, you just get a should we end this pointless war offer.

I've seen this happen too, and couldn't figure out how to change the behavior. If these guys don't want to invade with the troops then they should be fired!
