Troops landed at Woodlark Island. It appears that a large KB presence is near Woodlark Island.
I have an Australian SCTF at Townsville and it will move up a bit to be in range of anything entering the Coral Sea.
In discussions near the end of our last game Xargun expressed regret that he did not take or attempt to take Port Moresby.
I expect him to rectify that this game. I have not made Port Moresby a fortress, but it is a bit stronger than I normally make it.
There are level 3 forts at Port Moresby
He lost 11 bombers attacking Singapore. Singapore increased its forts back up to 3.

B-17es attacked the oil at Balikpapan at night again. No hits are shown, but the mouseover shows another 8 oil damaged.
In a somewhat cheesy move, Xargun has parked a sub on the line from the Balboa out box to Pearl Harbor hex.
CL Nashville was hit with 6 torpedoes and sunk. I can now be a bit cheesy on my part.
There are at least 2 subs off of Nadi toward Noumea, I have some DDs there to deal with it, but my ASW is not very good at this time.
My Australian/NZ SCTF in the Port Moresby area was attacked by bombers from KB. Three ships took Torpedo hits, but none sank.
They will retire at full speed to Sydney for major repairs. With the exception of one CL and that are undamaged and will make a high
speed turn into Port Moresby as it looks like there is an invasion fleet that will enter the hex this turn.
I would imagine he is a bit miffed. He had 34 Kates and 36 Vals attack and got no bomb hits, and 3 torpedo hits, one each on three different ships.
Not very good bombing to me.

An interesting turn.
It started with CL Perth and DD Voyager meeting KB on the way to Port Moresby. No combat occurred.

Only one division landed at Port Moresby, no other units are showing. That might not be enough. Probably he can take
the base, it just depends on how long it takes and what it costs.

Some CLs paid Port Moresby a visit last night.
There are two TFs NW of Ndeni, one is a sizeable portion of KB and the other may be an amphibious TF,
it is not really discernable. If he is headed to Luganville ( he took Ndeni a couple of weeks ago ), he will
need a good sized force. I have the 35th Infantry Division there and level 2 forts. He is still two turns away
from Luganville, so we shall see.
