UK CVs

Post by stjeand »

So I was noticing the UK gets 2 CVs during 1942...but both left in 1943 and did not come back till mid 1944...

That being the case...perhaps the UK should only get 1 CV that stays.

2 "extra" CVs for 18 months is a lot.

These two CVs were present in 1942 and when Kido Butai is around to invade Ceylon, they are extremely useful.

Now, WP does not have a function to remove an unit at a given date like WITE.

I have to balance the ins and outs of the RN. Naval units came in and left at different times so I try to just say ok at any one time these are available.

Pretty heavy Allied bonus overall.

2 Free CVs during the most critical months that the Japanese have to survive?

Won't be an issue in WPWW...but in this it is. That was why I figured they should just get 1 CV for all that time rather than giving them 2.
Yes they are useful in the Indian ocean though I doubt they would even leave port if the Japanese sent all 6 CVs there.

Then again if the Japanese move their CVs to the Indian ocean, the US will take the entire East Pacific with nothing stopping them because they have enough transports early now.
