Theater box transfers- what counts and how?

In my game against MSAG, I lost a VP and AP point in the WE box for not meeting requirements after first winter hit. In looking over the numbers, it seems that the air strength is the culprit. What receives credit for bring in a TB against requirements? Fighters, bombers? Anything else? Equally important, with airpower, how do I tell what an air unit will contribute to the garrison requirements?



It looks like the WE theater box is shipping a fair amount out even though it is below requirements.



I can certainly transfer some stuff out out of the reserves that are sitting out first winter, but I need to understand how much and what kind of units make a difference.

different TBs require different type of planes
you have to click on that arrow to the left of AIR DAY or AIR NIGHT and you will see what you need
some TBs might need only fighters while another might require fighters + patrol (which is recon and naval patrol)

as for a planes there are no CV
this is what i also mentioned some time ago
so in order to roughly estimate how many planes do you need to send you have to count existing planes in particular TB and divide by current value that they contribute
it should work fine if planes in this TB are the same type (like modern one, which in case of the Axis is probably the case, good luck trying to do it with a Soviets with an auto upgrades in TBs )

AA, esp heavy AA is really good to spare for the West box, it counts vs the air requirements and as ground cv
