Does a 0.5 AA bonus make any difference to defending units

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Does a 0.5 AA bonus (e.g. one AA point on a town) make any difference to defending units air defence, or does it just get rounded down? Thanks

Not 0.5 alone, but two upgrades to equate to 1 will help.

so what's the point of aa level five if its 2.5 then?

Level 5 AA only helps for defending resources and ports against strategic bombers. Usually not worth going beyond level 4 I think, though.
