UK Units in France

What happens to UK units in France when it surrenders? Thanks in advance for replies.

Any units there stay but could be out of supply if in the open not near a port.

IF they are in a port the port is part of the UK now and they can transport out.
IF they are in Vichy when Vichy forms they end up in your deployment queue...

I suggest that when you know surrender is coming all the UK units should move to ports on the west coast of France the turn before.

IF they Germans do not try to dislodge you you can still for the whole game. Though I doubt you will get more than 2 turns in a port.

Cherbourg can often be held for years right up to D-Day.
