[ADDED B1266.1] Anyone else not having Sensor images and descriptions show in 1253.1?

I understood that version 1253.1 corrected the Sensor images and description files not showing in the database. However, I am still not seeing them. Before I put in an bug report, I just want to make sure that others are seeing the same issue. Otherwise, it may be something with my CMO installation.

To test, in the DB3K, look for Sensor_887 Jay Bird [RP-22M Sapfir-22] radar. It is associated with the MiG-21bis Fishbed L. If you have the latest image and description package, you should have both an image and a description file for this in your game. Is anyone else who is using 1253.1 not seeing the image and description file in the database viewer?

I do have the same problem. Checked the exact sensor you mentioned. I also have both the image and description in the "db" directory.

I'm bumping this thread just so the issue doesn't get lost. A bug report was submitted in Beta build 1253.1. From what I can tell, the sensor images and description files do not appear in the database viewer. On a related point, the new "Ground Unit" category do not appear to be linked to the "Facilities" database files. For instance, "Ground_Unit_300" (D-30 Howitzer) does not appear to be hyperlinked to "Facility_687" the D-30 Artillery Battery. See attached. I'm not sure if I'm jumping the gun on this latter issue, or if it something that the developers simply haven't fully implemented yet.

Incidentally, BRAVO ZULU to Dimitris and all for the numerous added features. I know ya'll are working really hard on CMO.

I will have a look at the sensor link issue, thanks for the bump.

The 'facilities' units and the new 'ground unit' units are very different under the hood. They're not linked because a mobile facility representing 4 x D-30 howitzer does not actually contain 4 x individual D-30 ground ground units. Linking from the facility to the ground unit would imply a relationship that isn't present in the sim.

It may have been a misunderstanding on my part. In the release notes for 1253, it reads:

"Build 1253.1 Release Notes (changes from B1243.x)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

* ADDED: New ASuW doctrine option: "Use missile waypoints" (NO by default). When set to Yes, ASuW missile shooters will use the missile's waypoint/dogleg capability (if present and if the range allows it). If set to No, ASuW missile shots will always go "straight in" (ie. CMANO pre-v1.10 behavior).

* FIXED: "Aegean In Flames" DLC was not registered

I interpreted this to mean that the issue of no images or description files in the sensor portion of the database was fixed. In retrospect, it may mean only the lack of a hyperlink to the sensor portion of the database was fixed, but the lack of description files and images in the sensor database still remains.

Regardless, the images and description functionality in the sensor portion of the database appears to be disabled. I previously submitted an bug report on this issue. Thank you for looking into it, and I appreciate the hard work you and your team are putting into the game.

When the 'sensor' page was added to DB View back in September 2021, there were no images or description so the code was left blank for them.
I should have followed up on this later to find out when these would be available, but forgot to.

Actually, the code was put in place sometime in the December 2021 timeframe, as I was putting images and descriptions in the Sensor portion of the database viewer then. However, that functionality stopped with one of the subsequent updates, and it hasn't returned yet.
