At Tsiaotso, the Japanese got a 'supply -', but that probably does not apply to every unit in the stack. Since you have them isolated, you could just bombard for a while to use up their supply while your troops recover. When they stop shooting back, they are all out of supply.

That kamikaze attack was unreal - 20 hits for 25 kamis. I didn't think the AI would train them that well!

Looks like great progress at Hankow - a huge industry loss for the Japanese when you take it. Their supply situation in China will be that much worse!

Edit to add: Your arrows showing your approach to Bangkok seem to leave the west side open for his troops to escape into tough jungle terrain of the Malay peninsula. If you can spare a unit to block the rail line there early, that will help trap them. Also, I never try and cross the river into Bangkok - the city terrain and forts make it too expensive. I block the exits and send all my invading troops through Ayuthia.

At Tsiaotso all hex-sides are Allied but Japanese units still have supply. It'll take week or 2 to weaken them sufficiently.
China generally is bit of a "tar baby" even when extra supply is now flowing there after capture of Rangoon.

I think the Kamikaze group was highly experienced in Naval Attack and just recently transformed to Kamis, so good thing they are now out of it.

I will advance to Tavoy first and then 2 other bases west of Bangkok. I need to clear the rear areas first too, not going to Bangkok straight away. Plus I have to prevent retreat to Malaya peninsula. This time I am not in so hurry to clear Indochina, but hopefully will do that too before 1945. Usually I indeed take Ayuthia first. From there it is normal attack and no river crossing, it is usually also more lightly defended and clear terrain.
