German generals rank promotion

I don’t understand why after more than one « in-game » year (sept 42) none of my german generals has been promoted.
I play "campaing no early end scenario". Could you help me ?

I think the mechanism that regulates this is either not working, or weighted too heavily against promotions. We'll take a look at it. Thanks for the report.

Merci pour cette réponse. Je précise que même les promotions planifiées par le programme ne fonctionnent pas.
Exemple :
Majorgeneral Allmendiger promotion de Generalleutnant prévu le premier août 42 et toujours pas promu le 1er janvier 43.

Une autre précision même quand on veut promouvoir un général allemand manuellement en lui donnant un commandement supérieur à son rang, le programme ne fonctionne pas. Il prend le commandement mais garde son grade subalterne. Ex Model mis à la tête d'un groupe d'armée reste Generalleutnant.

I summarize : The promotion of German generals is not executed in any of the 3 theoretically possible ways

1- The promotions to the higher rank provided for by the program in the individual file of the generals are not carried out.
2- possible promotions on merit never occur.
3-Promotions made manually to give a higher "high command" to a general also do not occur.

On the other hand, promotions occur for the Romanian generals.

Do skillups work proper?

I see them but they're quite rare.
And maybe to have some Axis minor leaders have an 'easier time' to skill up their ratings could help somehow over time with a more proactive use of them.

Les "skillsups" fonctionnent normalement mais ce n'est pas directement le sujet de mon post. Je parle de la promotion au grade supérieur. Ex Generalmajor --> Generalleutnant.

I have this problem as well and I reported it a few months ago.

I have done >350 turns in official scenarios (1942-44 and 41-45) and had virtually none at GENM and GENL level and none at all at GEN or GENO level promotions . there are some skill upgrades and quite a few leaders killed.

I am pleased that Joel said that they looking in it as it appears that this mechanism isnt working. I hope the fault/bug can be found and retified.
