Italy finds on a 5, and Allies miss with a 4. Alas, that is low enough to get Allies do decide what combat it is if the 0-box is included. Therefore the only Allied box included is the 3-box.

I have to take a break now. I hope to be able to continue later today. Maybe in an hour or so. If not, then I will resume tomorrow.

My goodness that will hurt if Axis find!
I was thinking about leaving the sea area, but US units would be OOS in Europe so we have to stay.

US supply should not be an issue here. US can draw supply from UK. Even CW oil in UK can be used for US re-organization if need be. London, for example, is a primary supply source for the US forces.
So does the equation change when the supply issue is removed?
Cut from RAC:
A primary supply source for a unit is:
• any friendly city in the unit’s unconquered home country; or
• for a Commonwealth unit, any friendly city in another unconquered Commonwealth home country; or
• any friendly city in an unconquered home country of a major power with which the unit co-operates (see
18.1).

I counted my spare CPs, not even close to replace what I have in FG. So we have to stay and hope for the best.

The Italian SUBs finds the massive Allied convoy. However, the convoy defence is alert so any real surprise is avoided. (Axis 1, Allies 3)

Italy decides to go with an surface action (SUB combat is way to depressing).

How much would Axis have taken original damage in sub combat?
Do all my CPs have ASW points?

And did you use any or all surprise points already?
Edit: 4 to choose combat. I guess there were no more to use.
Edit 2: I think there are two more points to use.

Axis had 5 surprise points. So one remains for no purpose...

If CPs have ASW factors, then target X on CA. Allies stay.

Axis would have taken 2X in damage. And no way to modify it.Mayhemizer_slith wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:36 am How much would Axis have taken original damage in sub combat?

Yes, I think all your CPs have one ASW point each.

In this case CA is not that important. CA takes X.Orm wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:53 amAxis would have taken 2X in damage. And no way to modify it.Mayhemizer_slith wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:36 am How much would Axis have taken original damage in sub combat?
