Not much today.

Green Island fell.

No bombardment attack at Changsha

We had a small dog fight over Henyang, I lost 10 P-40B( 6 air-2-air and 4 ops, 6 pilots )
Xargun lost 13 Zeros( 12 air-2-air and 1 ops )

May 30, 1942

Not much happening at this time. I think both of us have damaged CVs repairing and it just that time of the game
where things can get a bit boring.
I am building Lunga and will take a few more bases in the Solomon Islands, but it will be slow going. I need to build
the bases up as I go and it takes time to do that.

Usual bombardment attack at Changsha

Landings at Rekata Bay, Pangoe, and Bacolod.

The AVG is stood down for a bit.

May 31, 1942

Another month goes by.

Japan made landings at Auki, Munda, Russel Islands, and Thousand Ships Bay in the Solomon Islands. These are small, probably FT,
invasions. I assume he just wants to know if and when I put forces on these bases.
Japan also landed at Baybay on the island of Leyte. Clean up.

Kind of neat, I had a SCTF at Kirakira set to patrol there and a reaction of 6. It reacted to Auki and sank a PB there
and then reacted to Thousand Ships Bay and sank another PB there.

Bacolod and Rekata Rekata Bay fell today.

Some bombing of my units fleeing Wenchow.

I damaged a sub East and a bit South of Noumea, one hit was listed as a direct hit

His air keeps attacking my units that fled from Wenchow. Little does he realize that if he does destroy them

June 4, 1942

Again, not much

Xargun continues to bomb my fleeing troops in China.

I am doing Naval Bombardments and Aerial bombings at Tulagi, I will be taking it soon.
It appears that he has removed all his troops from Russel Islands, Thousand Ships Bay, and Auki.
Sometime after I take Tulagi they should all revert back to my control.

Last turn Xargun tried to intercept my bombers over Tulagi, but they did not make contact.

This turn I sent a P-40B squadron to sweep Tulagi and downed 11 Zeros with no losses.

He is still bombing my fleeing troops in China

IJN subs were busy.
I lost an xAKL carrying supply at Kirakira
and a AG off of Auckland.

More troops land at Cebu
Landing at Bandjermasin

Over Magwe my P-38Es shot down 6 Zeros, but lost 2 in air-2-air and 1 ops.

It looks like he is sending some(all?) of the units he moved out of Siangtan to Changsha. I have units
moving into Changsha to bolster the defense.

June 12, 1942

This is a case of where I think the game mechanics suck.
This small was attacked by a sub, the APA took one torpedo and then the PF pounded the sub
and forced it to surface. Then while both ships were firing on the sub it launches two more salvos of torpedoes.
It has never seemed right that this happens.
