Unable to see units next to mine

This one was odd...

The UK corps had been sitting here for 2 turns...
The Axis moved next to the unit, but this is what I see.

Not sure why the units next to me are hidden.

I am trying to replicate it but I can't. Every turn the game updates all the units which looks for surrounding units.

You invaded with 1 unit then he surrounded you? and sat there?

is this PBEM or A.I.?

Can you click the German unit and see the recon detail?

I have a similar problem with several units while trying to play the Husky scenario.
Move Allied unit to a valid invasion hex, invade (press 'D' key, right click), ship icon remains, do not see and cannot move Allied land unit.

My unit moved there last turn, not an invasion
France surrendered last turn.

The Germans moved up next to me.

Never seen this before.

Not something I overly worry about but it was odd.

The checker looks right but it is a manual formula. So I converted it to my newest formula in case there was an issue. Otherwise not sure why it would do it.
