Naval Icons that Appear in the Game

Post by jcrohio »

From the 1914 Call to Arms Strategy Guide:

"There are a number of sea hexes on the map where the presence of enemy
naval units or mines will impede civilian shipping, e.g. near Zonguldak and
in the Sea of Marmara,..."

There are also a number of these zones off the coasts of North America and Italy. These are all marked with Tooltips stating their purpose (Enemy Raiders Disrupt Italian Shipping Near Naples for example).

My question is do the areas near Zonguldak and in the Sea of Marmara serve the same purpose and if so, should they contain the same type of Tooltip?

Thanks
Jack

They are the same event type and therefore have similar tooltips.

Thanks for the reply. What I was trying to say was that the Tooltips near Zonguldak and in the Sea of Marmarado not exist and just wanted to make sure the zones functioned as the others do. Did a poor job of phrasing my post. Sorry.

I see what you mean, and they do work the same way. Getting into the Sea of Marmara might not be easy, but the Russians should be able to interdict coastal shipping at Zonguldak - though it won't likely be cost free!
