Delay between PBEM turns

Post by Eradanfaroth »

Hi usual online players

Sorry for the inconvenience, but i have a noob/beginner (multiplayer) question :
How much time between each turn seems reasonable to you ?

I'm waiting for a game that's just starting axis then allies take the first turn already, but since that, i wait 48 hours without the other player (axis) take his turn.

Seems long for me, as for this type of game, a turn each 48h, the game will last forever.

Thks in advance for your opinion and answers.

It is advisable to set expectations beforehand.
Most players will normally say something like,

' Can normally average around a turn a day'

Often you'll find that there will be more turns at the beginning when the game has fewer units
And weekends / holidays can produce more or none (because some people have a real life too)

Thks for the answer and advice.

I was my first try, i join a game in the lobby room and don't pay attention to this point.

For the mailing function of the forum, seems there is some problems from my own point of view :
Notifications : i receive an email april, 15 and only discover it in start of june. There was no evident notifications when you enter the site by the store/personnal space. I suppose i must check my notification to receive email when i have a new message.
Some players don't seem to visit the forum at all, i'm just playing American Civil War two games PBEM with one. You have just to join the lobby room via the game, create an account but you're not rediriged on the forum.
