France Surrenders Post #2

Post by canuckgamer »

In my previous post a few days ago about the surrender of France there was a misunderstanding. This is our second PBEM game and I have not yet played the Axis. My friend tells me that if Germany accepts the French surrender, Vichy is formed. In this game the Germans conquered enough production and manpower centers for a French surrender. At the time I had UK units in a number of ports in France and French North Africa. These Allied occupied hexes indicated that they were UK controlled but the ports were not providing supply.
One Allied turn later (this turn) those UK units are receiving port supply. All hexes in France and French North Africa not occupied by Allied units are now indicated as being German controlled. This brings up a question about Italy which surprised us last game. When and if Italy surrenders do all their hexes except those occupied by German or Axis Allied units such as Hungarian revert to Allied control?
We seem to remember that this was something that was going to be changed in a patch. We are playing version 1.00.17 with the hot fix update installed as well.

In italy's case their hexes stay the same if I remember. There was a special set of code I put in.
