In a recent game as Allies, the Axis declared war on Turkey and quickly captured Ankara by air. It took them a few more turns to take Istanbul.

However in this time there was no ability to operate troops from the Soviet Union into Turkey, or vice versa, despite there being a rail connection.

This is because of the USSR's uncooperative status with other Allies, in this case the UK as Turkey is a Minor to the UK.

In the next patch Turkey will be a Soviet Minor, so Soviet units will be able to operate into the country.
