Japan Turn 2 help

Post by ThunderLizard11 »

I attacked Bandar Lampung turn 1 and pushed unit back to mine field. Now on turn 2 how do I dislodge unit so I can start getting oil from Palembang. Also, should I start attacked against Surabaya and what units should I use?

I don’t attack Bandar Lampung on turn 1, too risky. On turn one, I prefer to land near 3 of the 4 oil fields of Borneo. But, I am always landing near Surabaya to take it.

I bring an army in on turn 1 ready to invade Bandar Lampung on turn 2. Then, I am heading to Batavia. Once DEI surrenders, you have all the oil.

So you have the port...if supplied then you should mostlikely have a good marine there.
You will need naval bombardment to help move the unit off the minefield.
Another option is the small port just to the north...you can ship oil through that but that is probably a tougher unit.

Some players move an army from Japan to the DEI and that will quickly dislodge any unit.

The one issue you can have...RAIN...that will really dampen your efforts.

See what I did there.
