Stalingrad to Berlin - seeking Soviet opponent

Post by Seminole »

Looking for someone interested in attempting the slog to Berlin.

Let me know what house rules you'd be interested in, I'm open to whatever.

I'm not the fastest player, but I'll be there until the end.
I want to see how the late game plays.
Please only accept this offer to play if you're more interested in seeing how it ends than winning.

Will there be an AAR? If not who is your opponent? :-)

Underway against MSAG.

There will be an AAR, but will probably lag the action by 10 turns or so as long as I’m in a position to attain operational initiative.

This is only my second go at the scenario, the first ending prematurely because of a misunderstanding over motorization.

I had accepted a public game with no house rules stipulated in the comments or conveyed by the opponent.

The frustrating thing was I really liked my opening, and the motorization itself wasn’t decisive, and didn’t even create a pocket.

We have no house rules stipulated in this game, but we’re both playing toward a historical simulation.

I’ve done a slightly different opening, with a little worse luck this time, but I’m still happy with the outcome and looking forward to seeing what it brings.

My goal is to keep the Soviets out of Germany proper. But I will fight ‘43 to win the war.

I remember the motorization game well. I warned you about that motorization ;-) Anyway, always looking for your next great read and 10 turns is a long time to wait for it. Hurry up already :)
