Fps unplayable with supply showing

Hey there,

I recently bought the game but whenever I press S to show supply the game grinds down to what feels like 2/3fps. Runs perfectly the rest of the time on a 9700k, 32GB DDR using the integrated UHD 630 igpu.

Is this a known issue? I've updated drivers and even tried a format, but no change in behavior.
