What’ll be the next game in DC?

Decisive Campaigns: Ardennes Offensive is the fourth wargame in the Decisive Campaign series. Covering the battles in the Ardennes between December 1944 and January 1945, it brings to life Operational wargaming by lowering the scale to just above tactical level.

I'd like the game system to stay in the west and do Normandy. Normandy to the Bulge time frame for scenarios and campaigns. Seems like a lot of the OOB and some map parts are already done, so maybe a quicker turn around on making the game available.

If staying in West I'd rather see early War for a change.

Market Garden we already got a map and I think the scale of the game is perfect for it.

I was thinking the same thing, if the series remains in the West for another title. Plenty of material for individual battles, operations and the entire campaign.

Although, I do agree with Wodin that something earlier would be a refreshing change up,

Fall Gelb | Rot would be a tad too cluttered with units and a micromanagement nightmare. AI also wouldn't be able to handle it. Crete '41, Herkules '42 (hypothetical) Crusader '41, Gazala '42, El Alamein 1st/2nd, maybe Tunis '43 and Sicily '43. Other than that, operations that did last longer than one month aka 120+ game turns would be a real challenge.

Personally I’d like to see Normandy first and then Market Garden for the same reason: faster turn around. Perhaps market garden can even be a DLC for Normandy.

Please, dear Lord, no more Normandy games.

Just use the old Streets of Stalingrad paper chit game as a model.

I cast my ballot enthusiastically for Market Garden! Really lends itself to smaller scenarios/operations and the campaign would be a blast.

yes, i remember on my ATARI ST !! ,Fire Brigade is an exceptional game by Panther Games that simulates the 1943 battles around Kiev on the Eastern Front , a good battlefield for decisive campaigns .
