Factory evacuation in Moscow

Post by ncc1701e »

Losing 25 PP is a huge blow to Soviet economy. Is it possible to implement an event to move some production points eastward if Moscow is captured?

I don’t know which factory was in Moscow but their evacuation was under preparation but then canceled when the German advance was stopped. Source: when titans clashed.

Thanks

Yes it is possible, in my mod it happens.

I do it like this: I add a new resource that is a city with 25 morale, it does not give PP, next to Moscow 30 PP, these are replaced by 20PP on 01/02/1942, and by 10PP on 01/06/42. On 01/11/1942 10PP appear in the Urals, and on 01/02/1943 another 10PP.

Yes you are right. Well, in my current paused game, all Pz corps went for Moscow and I have lost it end of 1941. Guess I should have done better then.

With the mod, if you take Moscow you still lose 25 morale and 25 manpower, and 10PP always stays there. It remains a heavy blow for the Russians to lose Moscow. Only 20PP are saved, if you take it after the evacuation date. Historically about 100 factories were evacuated from the Moscow area.

So when is the evacuation date? so if the Germans take it before then they get it all?
