Question about control

Post by Nirosi »

Hi all,

I remember quite clearly that when two countries invaded a third one, once the country was conquered, the remaining hexes were given to the official conqueror, but those already taken by the second country would remain in that second country control.

For example, when The UK and USSR were invading Persia, once Persia was taken by the USSR, all the Persian hexes would become Soviet controlled, except for those that the UK took up to then, which would remain in UK hands. Was quite historical too.

However, in my game with Magic Missile (who is very good at making pockets in the Soviet Union by the way ;) ), when Tehran fell, all the UK controlled hexes in the South also became Soviets (including the one right under a UK division).

Would that be a bug or was there a change in a previous update that I missed?

Thanks,

Mmm - could it be related to what is reported in Iraq too? Could you move your UK division now?

I did not try, but I am sure I could not as UK should not be able to move into Soviet territory normally. I could leave from the port I was in however.
