Minor race colonization still not working?

Post by Phelysarrian »

Just trying the 1.0.6.4 beta for colonization but I do not see any improvement from released version.

I want to colonize planet B suitable for race B that is a minor population on planet A (race A>1500M; race B>500M pop). Planet A is the only location race B exists on in my whole empire.

On auto, ColonShip is built on planet A and loads only race A, not B. Then it just stays idle.

I put ColonShip on manual and toggle race B to resettle, all others are on assimilate, but ColonShip still loads only race A.

Patch note of 1.0.6.0 says
- improved loading colonists for new colony targets so that load most suitable race even when is not dominant race at load colony
Was that reverted in 6.4 or ever tested?
Let me know if I am missing something and where to look for on this colonization proceeding?

Alternatively:
Could you give options to specifically select which race to load up in a ColonShip? That will help for for dumping more population after a first colonization and relocate a whole population (even if manually performed).
Could ColonShip have a "forced" colonization manual choice to offload colonists on a planet even if not suitable?

Thx.
