I used to read your AAR but I got away from it and I just saw this. So I really don't know what is going on in your game anymore. But fight a good fight and both of you have fun.
Hey, good to see you back from the Ukrainian Front, lols! :D

Thank you but, unfortunately I did not go to Ukraine. I really, really wanted to but . . .

Ouch on the Washington. Still floating after being hit by five fish is pretty good, though.

When does your first big ARD arrive? I like them a lot but their cruise speed is five knots. They take forever to get anywhere.

Too bad Washington is 35K tons ... unless the torpedoes took off 5K at the bow! :o

Pushing into New Guinea...first really aggressive use of a Fletcher squadron. Corsairs flying LRCAP over them...aim to keep the IJ runways closed to fighters here to aid in air transporting troops forward. Japan has not really built up interlocking bases and our goal now is moving forward, getting AKE,AD, AE forward and just flowing troops forward all the way up to Mindanao. Bypass and move forward. 12 IJ units at PM, Rabaul has 10, Kavieng has 4.

We will have two Corsair squadrons and 2 P38 squadrons along with the normal Allied fighter squadrons to take air control. Unlike Japan, we will have multiple interlocking runways...all the while we keep pushing forward by air and fast transport followed up by landing craft.

Nonsense, 37.4 tones! 80 days to wait for the ARD to arrive, probably 80 more days to move the ship to Nauru....we will pump out the counter flooding and head for repairs...get a couple of ARs working on the sys damage down. Sydney is 30 ton shipyard...so eventually back to Pearl.

A few days have gone by...no great clashes.

Our subs continue to score well and provide solid intel. A merchant and a coastal sweeper today.

Japan seemingly sends a SAG, with one BB forward to act as a cap trap...he had success doing this near Tabby months back.

Meanwhile we got reinforcements into Finnshafen, dropped a 105 mines there, and a fully loaded AE...a 7 ship Fletcher squadron is there too, along with PT boats.

In a somewhat risky move, put the Deathstar into PM to catch transports...no joy but no damage either.

First attack at Tulagi went well...don't need to land anymore troops there. First base invaded with lots of landing craft rather than APs.

Would be nice to run some Fletchers into Manus tonight, 7 hexes, easily doable...
