Campaign cutting mission off upon minimum victory

Post by maverick3320 »

Just played Chains of War #2, God of War. The scenario concluded immediately after I reached the minimum victory threshold (29 points out of 55 I believe). I still had approximately 30 hours left in the scenario.

Is there any way to go for more than a minimum victory in these scenarios? Also, I have heard that there are cutscenes in the campaigns but I haven't seen any yet (granted I'm only two missions into CoW).

You can either:

1) Play the campaign scenarios in standalone mode
2) edit the pass-score for the specific mission in the relevant campaign file. This can be done in the editor or by hand-editing the campaign file in Notepad (or other applicable apps). Note that you will have to meet or exceed whatever pass-score is set in order to advance to the next mission. Changes to the pass-score will still apply to save games started before the pass-score was edited, so there's no need to restart your current mission.

With regards to cutscenes, the only campaign that ever has had cutscenes was Northern Inferno. AFAIK, the cutscenes didn't make it into the CMO version of Northern Inferno, however. There is a Youtube Playlist of the cutscenes here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... rPjsRp1XRT. I assume the mission number is what mission the cutscene is supposed to play before, but I'm not certain.
