Fighter Sweep (Strafe) - Patch 1.06.57

Hi, it has been a while since I played and I can't seem to get a strafing attack to work...

- Does the assigned group / squadron strafe @ target point or patrol point?
- Is it chance based or will it always strafe?

Hi.
Cloud can foil a strafe attack, even quite light cloud.
If the airfield is unoccupied or a based unit is flying elsewhere then your attacking aircraft may judge the situation not to be worth losing aircraft for no benefit.
Both the above may result in your raid just circling the airfield
Also I notice that when planning make sure you get the target co-ordinates exactly on the attack WP that match up with the listed co-ordinates on the map. I just find this helps.
