Air strike question

In Bootcamp 2 I have ordered an airstrike on firebase occupied by VC unit adjacent to my unit in other firebase unit and it will not let me launch it? I also tried an air strike in an isolated VC unit and same thing happens. It says I have 1 air strike remaining.
Any help would help

If you have one airstrike remaining:

1. Open up the CLOSE AIR SUPPORT dialog (looks like the front of a F-4 Phantom)

2. Select the Aircraft you want to come in

3. Right click on the target hex. If you did this right, a bomb icon should show up on the map.

Thanks Jason. I did all those steps and it still would not let me. I have successfully launched them earlier in the scenario.
I will keep trying though !

Any chance you could post a screenshot of the entire screen where you are trying?

Alas I restarted the scenario but I will if it happens again. Thanks again.

I figured it out. You have to keep the CAS screen open when you target the hex. Not sure if that is specified in the manual or not. If so my apologies.
