On map OoB grows by 432k.

1 NKPS rails to Kursk, will be put on the front line next week to boost depots
2 NKPS arrives in Leningrad and is railed south
12 RR Const Bdes will be transferred to strategic Fronts for the Winter Offensive
102 Ski Btns raised this week to refit in November and deploy in December.

Strategic reserves identified:

33 Cav Div in the south grouped for conversion
27 Cav Div in the center not yet grouped for conversion
Need to pull these south to assist with Cherkassy pincer

STAVKA briefs the relevant Front commanders on the overall aims of the Winter Offensive. Attacks will be launched where deemed advantageous against AGN and AGC with expected mechanized reserve reaction. These attacks will mainly be to tie forces that could be pulled for strategic reserves in the south.

Focus will be on crossing the Dnepr west of the German motorized corps that has been trying to create a bridgehead over the Dnepr. Capture and elimination of the D-Z pocket will be followed by an effort SW to isolate any defenders in the Kherson region.

Can you clarify if the game is still going? I wasn’t sure if you started updating because your opponent did start doing turns again, or because you are assuming it is over.

Anyway, this game seems very similar to the “woe is you Germany player” aar I did. I think that is mostly how games would go with a good Soviet player against a non-expert AAxis player at least with the old patch. However, maybe/hopefully the new CPP changes make it better.

It hasn’t been saved since I sent the last turn. I’m afraid it is done, hence the last gif.

I was hoping to reprise an old War in the East Soviet offensive in the new engine.

Looks like Nov 1942 in Nov 1941. Shame you didn't get to run that through.
