Turn 1 opener. Opted to go for Lvov pocket, severing the rail but otherwise not being able to isolate the units inside. Otherwise a fairly standard opener.

Also, Soviet ground support is absolutely brutal turn 1 when fighters can't cover you. The 20th and 14th motorised divisions lost 35 of their 315 guns to take minsk, an additional 22 to rout the 108th RD, and then 7 + 19 + 23 to take the 3 fortified zones to the west of Minsk. The attack over Minsk actually had fighter cover, but evidently not enough.

Ouchie.

Of course I don't really pay attention to the air war specifics, but those are noticeable hits. A trend not likely to stop anytime soon.

I can vouch and say I have seen the same thing.

I reread the patch notes and am generally feeling much more positive about playing the Axis. Some on the discord have pointed out potential issues with the CPP changes in 43/44/45, and part of the point of this game is to hopefully reach that point in the war.

Nice. Be careful attacking with PZ's when heavy GS is in use. Use your Moto instead if you can. Will save you tanks.
