Engineer and infantry units unable to lay IEDs

Hi. I'm trying to play through Bootcamp 2 and am in the process of improving my firebase and preparing for the arrival of the artillery.

I have an infantry unit in a clear hex and an engineer unit in a separate clear hex. It is the beginning of the turn and both units have 100 action points.

When i select either unit and select Unit-->Lay Mine Field/IED, I receive an error tone and message that reads "No valid units have been selected for mine/IED laying.

I have attached a zip file with the requested files. Thanks for your help.

I was successful in laying an IED with the infantry with 100 Action Points, while another attempted by failed.

The engineer though, cannot as they do not have the SetIED flag. See below

Thank you very much for the quick reply.

I was under the impression that most infantry and all engineers had that capability, and the wording in the scenario messages sort of reinforces that.

I will be sure to make it a point to inspect unit details as I sally forth. Thanks again!

Also, I forgot to check.

If your unit is Low on Ammo (aka conserving ammo), it will also not let you lay an IED.
