Plot Course not working correctly

Hey friends, I tried to search on the forum if anyone else had seen this issue and didn't find a thread on it. I am new to the game so I could just be making some mistake. In the attached video link it show that when I press F3 and try to plot course on my units the pointer just starts anew at the location which i left click. I'm kind of confused why this is happening

Just checking; do you have the setting show all or selected?

Are you sure you hit F3?
The video shows the action of the cursor is more consistent with the LOS tool (cntl-d).

Try using the 'Plot course' icon at top of the map

I am indeed hitting F3, I tried issuing the command by clicking on the icon as well and the behavior persists

Oh no I had the plotted courses in map settings turned off lol.... Thanks anyways

Glad it is working.
Still find it strange that the cursor action is in line with the LOS tool if the plotted course is not being shown.

Suggesting a change for next build that 'turns on plotted course for the selected unit' while placing a course.
When the option is 'not to show the plotted course' on the map
