Escorts didn't fly

A naval patrol AD in black sea with 4 escort IAP's set to fly both turns with auto escort fails to get any escort. Their air base has ample support and provisions, air is cold Soviet turn then snow falling Axis turn. Any ideas?

What's the minimum weather you set it to fly in?

Poor weather, the patrol flew, but without the escort. There were also AS AD's in the same area which must have flown as the pilots are fatigued and planes are damaged.

To help you, you need to at least take screenshots.

If they are not there, then fortune-telling on the coffee grounds. This may be due to the weather. As noted above.
This may be the inability to fly due to the wrong collection base. From which point the departure takes place. Perhaps your group selected for departure is on vacation, or the departure takes place during the day and the group flies at night.

It's a server game and it's moved on, but I already covered everything you suggested above without screen shots. There was nothing to screenshot that I'm aware of, nowhere that tells me why the escorts didn't fly. All the IAP were highlighted white, the target hex and path to it were green. The AD should have had an escort as far as the game lets me see, but they didn't fly.
