Hi there, thanks for the reply.

I suspected the distance didn't matter but better safe than sorry    I guess those 500.000 russians 'in trasfer' are gonna appear the next turn then. Gonna send my best luck to my men defending in winter.

I do play with the 1.02.25 , the only version I've ever had and in it the axis planes have drop tanks.

Expired loadouts are automatically removed in the logistics phase starting with 1.02.27.

You can use as many drop tanks as you like - loadout availability is restricted only by turns, not by production or something like that.
Yes thank you, this is for the Axis. Thanks for your answer.

Is Kronstadt Hex, one left to Leningrad, not pasable hex?
I dont really understand, the hex says that SE and SW are impasable but my sov units can move, at least in withdraw from the Oranienbaum fortification. That means, now I lose Oranienbaum, that with only a fortification unit I can hold the hex because no german can cross it?

It cannot be attacked from Oranienbaum or Peterhof. For admin movement it is passable.

I’ve only played against the AI thus far but I’m thinking of playing a HvH soon. In typical HvH games, is “movement fog-of-war” enabled?

Yes. Usually both fog of war options are enabled.

Thank you Jango. I’ve been playing with movement fog off, I’ll have to start playing with it on for a few more scenarios/games before I do an HvH then.

Commanders report question- A drop in the German manpower pool caused a drop in the max TOE of infantry divisions in the Western and Norway TBs. When I try to readjust the max back up to 100 percent- the CR won't let me adjust the TOE of infantry divisons in the those TBs- it only allows adjustments for the TOE's of infantry divisions that are on the map. Do I have adjust manually in the TBs to get it to change? I just don't want to do it one by one, so tedious.

The max TOE of non-elite infantry units in theaters is set automatically. You can transfer a unit to a reserve theater or map and set its Max TOE to 100% there.

Just to be clear, you are saying that particular action cannot be done via the Commander's report then?

That is what he is saying, yes. Max TOE cannot be adjusted by the player for any unit in a TB, except for the reserve TB.

Gotcha, thanks. I just noticed that I can't go in the Western TB and manually change the TOE there.

It can't be done at all! Only on the map or in reserve!

The Max TOE limit on non-reserve theaters was made recently to increase the replenishment on the map when there is not enough people in the pool. Therefore, when moving units to the map, you will need to set the Max TOE for these units manually.

When I'm deciding how to manage theater boxes and their CV requirements- does the game take into account the type of units inside or does it just look at the CV value. What I mean to say is that if I take the 15th Panzer division from the North African theatre box and move it to the "Map," and then I replace its equivalent Combat Value with infantry units- does the game penalize me for that-- like does it say to itself- "well, Rommel now has less mechanized assets than was historically the case- so this will affect theater events"?

Historically the 10th Panzer was "destroyed" in Tunisia in early 1943 and thereafter never rebuilt. How does the game handle that? Is that programmed into the GC? If so, if I send other stuff to the North African theater box, instead of 10th Panzer, does that stop the event? Or does the game just allow the 10 Panzer to be rebuilt after Tunisia falls.

I guess the basic question is how much flexibility do I have in managing CV requirements in TBs

There are no penalties in the game. You can replace all German troops in almost all theaters with Axis allies. I usually keep only Italians in Africa, but 120% of the required number of troops. All German troops except for security divisions are on the map.

But you need to take into account that Hungarians, Slovaks and Romanians, apart from the map, can only be in the Soviet Garrison, and Italians cannot be in Norway and Finland. Therefore, only German troops can be sent to Norway and Finland, and only German and Italian troops can be sent to France, the Balkans and Africa. If you can properly fill the theaters with all types of weapons (artillery, builders, bombers, air defense), you can get almost all the German troops on the map, and leave mostly only Axis allies and security units in the theaters.
