install of latest patch

Do we have a list of what the latest patch does? also do we actually have to uninstall and reinstall the whole game for this update?! it better be good!

There is changeLog.txt in the ..\Matrix Games\WarPlan directory.

It says the following for WPE:

The new patch should install everything correctly. I put in an extra safeguard into the system

Don't play your old games before this is resolved. Or revert to the previous patch could be an option.

I wasn't aware there were new patches for WP and WPP. We are in the middle of pbem games for both. The versions are 1.00.17 for WP and 1.00.07 for WPP. You are saying that installing the patch for WPP will revert the move back to turn 1 so we will wait unit a fixed patch for WPP is released. Is it safe to install the patch for WP? Thanks.

I found the bug for the PBEM. My fault. I deleted a data line somehow that set the next player. I just compared it to a version from 6 months ago. I will be uploading fixes while I get official hotfix.

Thanks, I was losing my PBEM against aoffen anyway. For the existing PBEM games that were resetted to turn 1, is there any way to recover them from the server once the hotfix is there?
